He takes pride in helping each person feel at ease while in the dental chair. Dr. Vega finds fulfillment in restoring patients’ smiles and bringing them comfort.
Education & Background
Dr. Vega grew up in the Bronx and has lived in Buffalo for more than five years. He achieved his doctorate at the University of Buffalo. In 2020, he decided to join Batavia Family Dental because of the positive team atmosphere and the practice’s focus on patient and preventive care.
Home Life
When he isn’t busy rejuvenating smiles, Dr. Vega likes to spend time with family. He’s an active person who enjoys hitting the gym, hiking, and traveling. It’s Dr. Vega’s dream to one day own a practice, and he intends on constantly staying up to speed on the latest dental procedures. Recently, he became a godfather to his best friend’s baby!

Dr. Steve Kind developed his love of dentistry while watching his father guide and educate their community neighbours on the importance of excellent dental care at his own dental practice.

  • Dr. Steve earned his DDS degree at NYU College of Dentistry. Devoted to continuing education, he has certification for dental implants, root canal treatment, and sedation.
  • With the firm belief that everyone deserves access to excellent dental care, Dr. Steve participates in regular dental missions.
  • Dr. Steve enjoys the outdoors – biking, hiking, and skiing with his wife Holly and their two children.

Dr. Cori Rando decided her calling was dentistry after having orthodontics as a teen when she saw first-hand the difference a beautiful smile made to her own confidence levels.

  • After earning her doctorate from University of Michigan, Dr. Cori completed her residency where she helped medically compromised patients develop better oral health.
  • Dr. Cori has been providing a wide range of conservative and visually appealing dental treatments for more than 15 years.
  • A dedicated wife and mother, Dr. Cori enjoys family time and staying fit with Yoga and regular spin classes.

Treatment Philosophy
We are delighted that Khan joined our team on May 2nd, 2021. Ever since, he has been diligently coming to the practice every day and doing his best to make visits a joy for our patients. Our team loves having him here too, and he wins the award for the friendliest team member ever! Khan is super-gentle and thoroughly enjoys meeting our patients. He loves kids and adults alike.
Education & Background
We enjoyed hosting Khan’s uncle Bailey for a few weeks in early 2021. Bailey is a kind-spirited therapy dog who soothes patients who attend a local a pain management clinic. When he was here, everyone enjoyed his company so much that we had to jump at the opportunity to acquire a pup from Bailey’s sister’s litter … and this is how we got Khan and where his sweet disposition originates. Khan is also very smart, is a quick study, and takes his job very seriously.
Home Life
When not at the office (and sometimes when he’s here), Khan enjoys all his Bark Box toys. He also loves every single tennis ball that he’s ever come across.
