Checkup

Checkup

Meet our doctors and discuss your personal oral health needs and desires. After a thorough examination, Dr. Sokolovskiy and Dr. Vega will find the personal approach that will work best for you. We’ll set up a regular care schedule, design a treatment plan, and if you’re interested, discuss your cosmetic options. We will work with you to help you meet your goals.

diagnostics

Diagnostics

At Batavia Family Dental, we want you to see what we see so you can feel comfortable with the decisions you are making for your family’s care. We use a small non-invasive intraoral camera to show you in detail any concerns or issues that we see so you can make treatment decisions with confidence. We’re also dedicated to your safety and use digital x-rays which we set to emit the lowest amount of radiation. Using this technology lets us create a baseline for changes. Plus, digital diagnostics use up to 90% less radiation than traditional film x-rays.

Hygiene

Hygiene Care

At your first appointment, we take the time to get to know you and everything about your teeth, so we get a clear picture of your oral health needs and concerns. Because of this, we will spend a little extra time than we do with your maintenance hygiene appointments. We’ll also create a mouth-map that we’ll use to track changes over time. We’ll assess for any jaw joint issues and do a screening for oral cancer. Please take advantage of this appointment by asking any questions you have about home care. Your hygienist is an expert at patient education and will happily give you all the help you need to take the best care of your smile.

treatment coordination

Treatment Coordination

We understand you may have many questions about your family’s dental care. From insurance predetermination to financing, we are committed helping you maneuver this process. We also want you to leave our office with all of your oral health or treatment questions asked and answered – but if you think of one later, just give us a call. We want to help.

Payment Options

You have many choices when it comes time to pay for your family’s dental care. Dental insurance and flexible financing options are just some ways we accept payment at the time your treatments are performed. And of course, we’re happy to accept cash, checks, money orders, and most major credit cards. We believe in giving you options for every step of your dental journey – including how you pay for services.
