When he’s not serving smiles, Dr. Sokolovskiy enjoys traveling and embarking on new hunting adventures. He loves spending time outdoors and cherishes moments with his daughter, Victoria, and his family. He can regularly be found alongside his loyal dog and clinical companion, Khan.
Dr. Beth Candino earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The State University of New York in 1993. She continued her education with a General Practice Residency at Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare – Utica and an Oral Oncology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. With deep clinical knowledge and over 30 years of experience, Dr. Candino’s goal is to offer thoughtful, comprehensive care.
Dr. Candino’s clinical background is matched by a thoughtful, relationship-driven approach designed to help patients feel supported and informed. By emphasizing preventive care and leveraging modern techniques, her focus is to ensure that each patient can protect and enhance their oral health for years to come. Dr. Candido is passionate about using artistry, problem solving, and continuous learning to help each person in her care transform their smiles and boost their confidence.
When she’s not treating patients, Dr. Candido enjoys time with her two college-age children, along with traveling, playing pickleball, biking, and hiking.
Dr. Robinson Vega earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and has been practicing in Western New York since 2020. He joined Batavia Family Dental the same year, drawn by the team’s collaborative spirit and shared commitment to patient-first care.
Dr. Vega centers his care philosophy on prevention, believing that proactive oral health is the foundation of lasting smiles. When treatment is needed, he focuses on making the experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible. He sees dentistry as a partnership – working together to achieve confident, healthy smiles – and finds fulfillment in restoring patients’ smiles and bringing them comfort.
Outside the practice, Dr. Vega enjoys staying active through hiking, traveling, and time with family. He’s passionate about continuing education and dreams of one day owning a practice. Recently, he became a proud godfather to his best friend’s baby, a role he cherishes deeply!
Khan, our lovable standard poodle, joined the team in 2021 and has been offering calm companionship to patients ever since. He’s gentle, loves meeting new people, and has a special way of connecting with kids and adults alike. Khan’s sweet disposition runs in the family. His uncle Bailey, a therapy dog at a local pain management office, spent time with us in early 2021 and made such a positive impact that we couldn’t resist welcoming Khan from the same lineage.
Smart, intuitive, and a quick study, Khan takes his job seriously – and wins the award for “friendliest team member” every day. When he’s not comforting patients (or sometimes when he is), Khan enjoys his Bark Box toys and deeply loves tennis balls – every single one he’s ever met!
